You can change your password to increase the security of your IXON account. You can also reset your password to regain access to your IXON account in case you forgot your password or your account got compromised.
Always make sure you choose a secure password to prevent other people from accessing your account. When entering a new password, multiple factors are taken into account to determine whether your password is secure or not (e.g. length, lower case, upper case, numbers, special characters, etc). A minimum password strength of "Good" is required for new passwords.
Additionally, you can increase the security of your account even further by adding two-factor authentication.

Change my password
Please follow the steps below to change your password:
- Go to any of the IXON Cloud apps' main page, like the Portal.
- Open the account menu in the top right corner and go to My profile > Login and security.
- Under Signing in, click on Change password.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
- Multiple factors are taken into account to determine whether your password is secure or not (e.g. length, lower case, upper case, numbers, special characters, etc). A minimum password strength of "Good" is required for new passwords.
- The option Require all devices to sign in with new password will log you out of the IXON Cloud on all devices, requiring your new password to log in.
You will receive an e-mail informing you that the password has been changed.
Reset my password
Please follow the steps below to reset your password:
- On the IXON Cloud login page, click on Forgot password?.
- Enter your e-mail address and click on Send me instructions.
You should receive an e-mail in your e-mail inbox. If you have not received an e-mail after a few minutes, also check your personal or company spam box.
- In the e-mail, click on Reset my password.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
- Multiple factors are taken into account to determine whether your password is secure or not (e.g. length, lower case, upper case, numbers, special characters, etc). A minimum password strength of "Good" is required for new passwords.
- The option Require all devices to sign in with new password will log you out of the IXON Cloud on all devices, requiring your new password to log in.
