Customize your company identity

A consistent branding strategy across all customer contact is vital for any company's marketing strategy. This is why IXON provides several ways to configure your company identity. You can make it look as if it is your very own IIoT Platform.

IXON Cloud custom branding

Required module
Required module: White-Labelling. Check your modules at Admin > Licenses. To obtain this module, contact your IXON account manager or IXON distributor.

With White-Labelling you can set your own company logo, colors, favicon, and tab title. This branding will be applied to your IXON Cloud company and all sent e-mails (e.g. user invites).

  1. Go to Admin > Identity.
  2. Under Identity, edit your company branding. See below for a list of options.
    Field Description
    Company branding You can choose the colors and logos displayed in the IXON Cloud. While editing, you'll see an immediate preview of what it looks like.
    Company logo Upload your own company logo.

    Maximum logo size: 10MB. Supported formats: .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .bmp, .tiff, .ico.
    Detect logo colors Automatically detect the colors from your company logo.
    Primary The primary color. You can also choose the text color (light/dark).
    Secondary The secondary (accent) color. You can also choose the text color (light/dark).
    Header style Choose the color style of the page header.
    Logo style Choose the company logo background color.
    Site title
    and
    Favicon

    The title and favicon are shown in the browser tab.

IXON Cloud custom domain

Required modules
Required modules: Custom Domain and White-Labelling. Check your modules at Admin > Licenses. To obtain these modules, contact your IXON account manager or IXON distributor.

With a custom domain (URL) you are essentially making the IXON Cloud your very own IIoT platform. Appearing as an integral part of the services that your company provides to its clients. The login page and any automated e-mails, for example when you invite a new user, will be automatically styled in your IXON Cloud company's branding.

The custom domain needs to be a subdomain of a domain that you own. For example, if your company website is propackmachinery.com, a subdomain could be insight.propackmachinery.com. We will automatically generate the necessary SSL certificate.

  1. Go to Admin > Identity.
  2. Under White Label Premium, edit the Custom domain name.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions.

IXON and custom domain

IXON is a multi-tenant SaaS solution. Meaning you can use both your custom domain (e.g. https://insight.propack-machinery.com) and the IXON domain (https://portal.ixon.cloud) to access your Cloud company and devices. This also provides the benefit of not needing to transfer any devices or settings when you you start using a custom domain, because everything is already there.

Single Sign-On

The Single Sign-On login buttons Log in with Google and Log in with Microsoft will need manual configuration to work with your custom domain. These buttons are therefore hidden by default. If you wish to use Single Sign-On, please contact our support team to assist you setting it up.

IXON Cloud custom terms of use and privacy statement

Required modules
Required modules: Legal and Custom Domain and White-Labelling. Check your modules at Admin > Licenses. To obtain these modules, contact your IXON account manager or IXON distributor.
Required role
Required role: Platform administrator. If you have a different role, this option will not be visible.

You can fully customize the Terms of use and Privacy statement of your IXON Cloud company account.

When you create an IXON Cloud company account, you have to accept IXON's Terms of use and can view IXON's Privacy statement on behalf of your company. These are legal contracts between your company and IXON.

Your custom terms of use and privacy statement are presented to and need to be accepted by all users that you invite into your IXON Cloud company account. These are legal contracts between the invited user and your company.

This contract, between the user and your company, does not affect the contract between your company and IXON.

  1. Go to Admin > Identity.
  2. Under White Label Premium, edit the Terms of use or Privacy statement document type:
    • Standard: The standard document from IXON.
    • Custom: A customized document.
    • No document.
  3. Confirm your choice.
  4. If Custom is selected, you can edit Edit.svg the document.
    • The document can be fully edited using markdown formatting.
    • Don't forget to Publish the document to effectively apply your changes.

Custom mobile app

Required modules
Required modules: White-Labelled Smartphone App and Custom Domain and White-Labelling. Check your modules at Admin > Licenses. To obtain these modules, contact your IXON account manager or IXON distributor.

With the custom mobile app your colleagues and clients can download the IXON mobile app, fully branded with your company name, logo, colors, and app screenshots in the Android and iOS app stores. Appearing as an integral part of the services that your company provides to its clients.

Custom front foils for the IXrouter

With the custom front foils you can brand the IXrouter with your company logo and colors. Appearing as an integral part of the services that your company provides to its clients.
